General Contracting

Where do you General Contract?

We are general contractors in the Northeast region of
Connecticut. If you are looking for a builder in another area we
can help you find one.
How Much Does it Cost to Build?

This is a very common question but there a number of variables
involved. Factors like lot conditions, type of home, type of finishes,
etc make the cost very hard to quote without detailed information. If
you are interested in having us general contract your home, please
contact us and we can arrange a meeting to gather the necessary
information.
Can you help me find land?

Yes, in the eastern part of Connecticut. Otherwise, we suggest finding a realtor in that area who specializes in finding land.
How long does it take to build a home?

Generally, new home construction can take 6-12 months. Variables like
site conditions, type of interior finish, weather can effect the length
of construction.
Are you licensed in Connecticut?

Yes, we are a registered New Home Construction Contractor (#5759) in
Connecticut. Please note that some contractors hold a Home Improvement
Contractors registration which is six digits long. In Connecticut,
anyone constructing a new home is required to have a New Home
Construction Contractor registration even if they are a Home
Improvement Contractor. So if you are looking for a contractor
make sure they have a New Home Construction registration.
Do I need to hire a General Contractor?

NO! By all means, if you have the abilities and time you should general
contract your own home. The best way to save money to put in as much
labor you can and hire your own subs. Not everyone has the necessary
time or ability and that is why we offer general contracting.
